The National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD) is Luxembourg’s data protection authority. It verifies the legality of the processing of personal data and ensures the respect of personal freedoms and fundamental rights with regard to data protection and privacy.
Within the TRUST project, CNPD leads Work Package 4: Seal of TRUST Specification and contributes to Work Package 5: Platform Validation as well as Work Package 7: Legal & Regulatory Compliance Monitoring, helping ensure alignment with data protection and regulatory requirements. In the TRUST project, CNPD provides expertise on data protection and helps ensure that project activities align with EU regulations.
