The TRUST research project was represented at the 12th ASSO DPO International Congress, held in Milan on 28–29 September 2026. The congress brought together data protection professionals, policymakers, researchers and industry representatives to discuss current challenges around privacy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital compliance.
Mandat International (MI), coordinator of the TRUST project, represented the project throughout the event, sharing information and promotional materials about TRUST with participants in the congress exhibition area. This provided an opportunity to introduce the project’s work and engage with professionals working at the intersection of data protection, technology and digital trust.
TRUST was also highlighted as part of the congress programme, with Dr. Sébastien Ziegler presenting the project during a keynote session. His contribution helped bring the TRUST project and its research into discussions with an audience of data protection officers and other experts addressing the evolving relationship between technology, privacy and trust.
Participation in the ASSO DPO Congress provided TRUST with a valuable opportunity to increase the project’s visibility, connect with the data protection community and foster dialogue around the importance of trustworthy approaches to emerging digital technologies.
